Mark Livingston
Interim Chief Financial Officer
Mark Livingston serves as Interim Chief Financial Officer of Cool Flame Bio, bringing more than 40 years of senior management, finance, strategic planning, startup, turnaround, and capital formation experience to the company.
Mr. Livingston has held senior executive roles across life sciences, technology, manufacturing, direct marketing, real estate technology, and multi-location operating companies. He has extensive experience helping emerging and financially constrained companies build the financial discipline, reporting systems, operating plans, investor materials, and governance processes needed to support growth, financing, and strategic transactions.
From 2021 to 2026 he has served as interim CFO to Geospan Corporation www.geospan.com. From 2009 to 2020, Mr. Livingston served as President and Chief Executive Officer of PrimaPharma, Inc., an FDA-inspected, ISO 13485-certified contract development and manufacturing organization specializing in aseptic fill-finish of injectables and ophthalmic products, as well as contract manufacturing of prescription drugs, over-the-counter products, medical devices, and clinical trial materials. At PrimaPharma, he helped upgrade financial reporting and planning systems, strengthen the executive team, improve project management discipline, and advance strategic planning initiatives that contributed to improvements in quality systems, financial position, and FDA audit outcomes.
Earlier in his career, he served in senior leadership and turnaround roles including Chief Executive Officer of Motels of America, President of Road Runner Sports, Interim Chief Executive Officer of BEL-Tronics Company, President of Belstar Systems Corp., and founder of Access Properties Group, Inc.
Mr. Livingston is a California Certified Public Accountant (retired) and earned a B.S. in Business Administration from San Diego State University. He was a founding partner of Campbell Boyd & Livingston, an accounting firm, and has served in leadership and advisory roles with professional and executive organizations including the Young Presidents’ Organization, Blanchard Training and Development, The Planning Forum, and the Management Consulting Services Committee of the San Diego chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
