RADIATION INDUCED PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY (RIPN)

Stage 1 Breast Cancer, Hormone Receptor +

Surgery initially followed by radiation for 5 days, no chemo initially

After completing radiation therapy was transitioned to anastrozole to suppress hormone levels

Approximately 4 weeks after radiation and anastrozole treatment, pt noted severe 8/10 RIPN symptoms for ~18 months. Including numbness, prickly feeling, pain, in her left arm and hand.

Started CFB-001 gel topically around month 21 of anastrozole. Large reduction in RIPN symptoms with CFB-001 0.5% 2x/day after one week of topical treatment down to 2/10 RIPN symptoms.

Has slowly cut down to 0.5% CFB-001 gel daily with good inhibition of RIPN symptoms at 2/10.

Continues to take anastrozole daily.
